Teal Pumpkin Project Halloween Treat Ideas

I have a confession to make.  I've never really liked Halloween.  I'm just not the person to get excited about dressing up as someone or something else.  When I became a food allergy mom, that dislike for Halloween intensified because of all the reasons we know so well (our kids feeling excluded,  worried about a reaction, etc. etc).  So I was honestly not looking forward to blogging about Halloween.  But, then it came to me!  Why not research unique non-food Halloween treat ideas?  This is something I can get excited about!

Food Allergies and safe Halloween ideas for the Teal Pumpkin Project

We've been doing the Teal Pumpkin Project for about 3 or 4 years now.  Our usual go-to for giveaways have always been glow sticks.  These have been a hit, especially if kids come after dark and they can put them on right away.  This year, I thought I would check out other unique options and share them with you.  Believe me, if you think outside the box, you can find some really neat things! Check out what I found here:

Now that you have a tonne of ideas about what to hand out for your non-food treats, you might want to decide WHERE to get your treats.  While I was researching, I found that certain stores had more unique non-food treats and better prices than others.  Click below to check out which stores I went to and how they all rate based on PRICE, UNIQUENESS and QUALITY of non-food treats.
